Advanced Letter of Credit
Course Description
Advanced Letter of Credit generally covers complex structures and risk-mitigation techniques used in international trade beyond basic LC operations. It includes advanced UCP 600 interpretations, handling of discrepant documents, transferable and back-to-back credits, standby letters of credit, and assignment of proceeds. It also addresses confirmation strategies, reimbursement rules, sanctions and compliance risks, fraud red flags, and ISBP practices for document examination. Advanced LC training further covers structured trade finance, such as red clause, green clause, revolving and deferred payment credits, along with practical case studies, CDCS exam scenarios, and bank-level operational risk controls in cross-border trade transactions.
